johnson 1979 55 hp low idle problem

hi, i need help with my Johnson 55 hp 1979 , i change piston and ring, new kit of gasket, change the 2 coil and have good compression 150 psi each cylinder, but i cant adjust low idle speed at 1500 rpm engine stop, engine at wot speed is very good, someone can help me to find the problem ??
the 2 carb. don't have low speed adjust and the scree for max low speed is on max so i cant turn more.

Sounds like you may need to do a link n sync from your rebuild. You might have the linkages out of adjustment. Your manual will have the steps for this in it or you can use the search feature here an probably find it. You may look at your timer base and make sure that it is free and rotates easily.
