Johnson 1982 9.9 Runs At Low Speed Only ????

I Finally Got My Motor To Run And Idle At Low Speed. The Motor Starts Right Up By Pull Starter And Electict Start. It Will Idle All Day Long,sounds Great !!!! As Soon As I Give It Gas It Will Not Go To High Speed ????? Go Back To Idle And It Will Idle Great. When I Change The Spark Plugs I Did See A Couple Pieces Of Metal Chip On The Plug ????


1. I Cleaned And Blew Out Carb. 4 Times.
2. Gas Is Mixed 50:1
3. New Spark Plugs
4. The Fuel Pump Shoot Gas Out Of The Gas Line
5. Good Spark


Please Help With This Puzzle, I Want To Go Fish This Weekend !!!!!!!

Clean or rebuild the carbs could be dirty. Jets could be stopd up.

I would check Compression, not good to see metal on your plugs.
