Johnson 2.2hp/ waterpump

My brothers 1998 2.2hp Johnson isn't spitting water. Is the waterpump easy to change? Any special tricks? It looks simple , but would like a little input before I start.There shouldn't be any shift linkage as it is a throttle only engine.<br />As for my Bro, him changing it would be like my mechanic in his kitchen...All grease and NO CLUE!<br /><br />Thanks <br />Deuce
