Johnson 3.0 Seahorse

I have a Johnson Seahorse 3 horse outboard given to me from my late father. The model number is JW16 and the Serial # is 2103583. Can anyone tell me what year it is and what it's worth. It runs fine and is in good shape.

That's a 1960, Roger.<br /><br />There is no defined market, so the value is whatever you can get for it or whatever someone will pay for it.<br /><br />Fuel mix is 24:1, Plugs are Champion J4C gapped at .030 and set the points at .020.<br /><br />If I wanted one and it checked out 4.0 I would probably go a couple of hundred for it.<br /><br />Good luck.
