johnson 4.5hp sea horse stiff throttle

I have just purchased a johnson 4.5 seahorse, it runs fine apart from the throttle is very stiff and seems to be turning the hole throttle housing. Any advice would be welcome.

That would be a 1980 Adama.<br /><br />Couple things that would make the throttle stiff...<br /><br />Dried up grease inside the tiller handle or under the flywheel around the magneto plate bushing where it spins, could have old grease around it.<br /><br />Look for where the throttle cable from the tiller handle connects at the motor and disconnect the cable. See if the tiller handle moves easier. Move the magneto plate around and see if it's real stiff to move by hand. Either may just need a good cleaning.

My other Question was were does the cooling water exit the engine on this model
