Johnson 4 HP

I am interested in bidding on this motor on E-bay,<br />but messages to the owner have been incomplete as he is selling for someone else. This is Model 4W78E and I was wondering if this motor has Neutral? I see a lever on the side in the pic and am thinking that it is a drive engage lever. One of you experts know? That motor does NOT have F-N-R shifting. The lever you see is the throttle.

Thanxs for reply. Could you recommend an older motor around 3-5 HP with at least F-N shifting that has a good reputation. thanxs, Harry

Hi Harry,<br /><br /> One of these motors sold on Ebay last winter for $448.00 US, I have the same motor runs great, handle on back is stearing and reverse you just flip it around and you"r in revarse flip it back for forward. Good luck J,C,
