How do I set the air gap between the coils and the rotating magnet?

Sure.....<br /><br />The lamination of each coil go to each side of the rotary magnet.....there called heels. Adjust the clearance between the heels and magnet to .012. The clearances are different for other models. This is for a TD-20 and a couple others. I'll get the other clearances and post them....maybe in the FAQ's.

For anyone who may need to know the air gaps of the older Johnny's......this is the gap between the heel of the coils and magnet rotor.<br /><br />HS-HD 20'S and TS-TD 15'S - .008<br /><br />HS-HD 25'S and TS-TD 20'S - .012<br /><br />Make sure the magnet rotor key is in place and the rotor is seated.
