I just received a Johnson 6 horse outboard. I need 2 things - how to identify it's age and when running should water be coming out? Thanks for any response.
Water exits the motor yes to cool it, there are a couple different methods, need the year of your motor to know where the pee hole(tell tale) is.Water should either be spraying out the finger-size exhaust relief holes in the rear of the midsection or out of the tell tale.
