Recently took out the battery and cables , to scrub clean the inside of boat. Charged up battery and put back in, cleaned connections. Won't start, not even a click. The motor recently had a some minor work, and it was running fine before I took out battery. I can jump start it by passing starter, can't jump it through the soloneid, sparks or nothing at the conection. I also checked the iginition key switch by pulling of the gear box, with a circiut light tester, no power at all to the switch. It sat for a week outside in some rain, this is why I decided to check out the igintion switch. <br />model #, Should there be direct cable to the engine from the battery?, the manuel shows one but I can't locate, and the inline fuse?? would this blow if I didn't connect properly. Need to locate this also. The only power connect I can find goes up to the safety switch under the dash, through the fuse panel, and into the instruments. There is power to them, switch seems okay. still looking through the manuel but thought somebody may have a short cut to lo :( ok for

Check the 20 amp fuse on engine, should be inside small red bulb that look like primer bulb. Recheck your connections. Using your tester check large red wire on starter solenoid to battery ground wire on engine block,

I had a look at the fuse, tiny one it is, I'll try replacing it tomoroww, no fuse/metal conductor inside of it. tried to connect the light to solonoid, and ground, nothing. Is there a main power connection I could check, coming in from the battery. The manuel says there should be, I can't find, only power goes up to the safety switch
