Thats odd..

could it be caused by the backpressure from the water over the exhaust causing a prob??

perhaps that is indicative of low compression ??? (I don't know, totally speculating here..)

Have you done the usual tests??

compession, spark, fuel..

put it in the water, take the cover off and test for a spark at the plugs..

If you have a good spark, look at the compression..

How long has it been doing this?? did it start recently? or did you pick it up somewhere and fired it up for the first time in ages to discover its doing this???

regards

Franki
