My last trip using this motor it didnt seem like it was getting good compression so i took off the powerhead when i got home and noticed the gasket that sits below the powerhead connecting it to the motor housing was partially missing. I ordered a new gasket but was curious to know if that gasket is missing would it leak gas. when i was loading the motor up after that trip gas and water spilled all over me. any help on this would be appricated.
