Johnson 70 Tilt/Trim Motor replacement

This T/T unit has the motor on the inside of the stern brackets. Does the boat engine need to be removed to remove the T/T motor? Looks like it to me but hopefully there's something I'm not seeing.

no you do not have to remove the engine,
1) mark the angle adjusting rod and remove,
2) lift the engine by hand and lock it,
3) remove the tilt cly. pin (punch and hammer)
4) remove the screws on each side holding it to the brackets,angle it down and out pull the control cable through the bracket,
