Johnson 70EL76

im new to boats and have a few questions. does a Johnson 70EL76 (70hp) have power tilt and trim?

would this motor be ok for a 24 foot Sun tracker pontoon for fishing and maybe pulling the kids on a tube? thanks!

That model motor came from the factory with one of three tilt configurations:
1. Manual tilt and trim (no power).
2. Power tilt only
3. Power trim and tilt

The only way to tell is to look at the particular motor for the hydraulic cylinders, 0,1, or 2.

With the proper lower pitch propeller, I would think the motor would push the pontoon along very nicely and be ok for tubing for kids. Not fast, but ok.
