Johnson 70hp block on 90hp lower ????

I have one of my "projects" going. A 70hp 3 cylinders Johnson with bad lower unit and a 90hp V4 with bad powerhead. Question is, can I install 70hp onto 90hp ? Does the exhaust plate and water passages matches or it's a lost battle ? I don't want to dismantle 70hp to find out, unless it will fit.<br /><br />Thanks.
