Johnson 75 hp 1984 Service Manual

[Syntax]

Does anyone know where I can download the Service Manual for this engine? It's very important that it is the Service Manual, and not the Owner's Manual, since exactly how to adjust carb isn't mentioned in the Owner's, or what the correct ignition setting is.

A free download would be illegal, since it is copyrighted. Not to say there isn't a lot of illegal stuff going on over the internet. You can buy it legally from www.outboardbooks.com OR, it isn't illegal for someone here to simply give you the answers you are looking for.

Another possible source: Depending on where you live, your local library. You might be surprised.

With download, I ment a pre-paid download from any legit site.
Thanks for your help, but the url you suggested only have manuals in physical formats, and I don't have time to wait for it to arrive in the mail. So if anyone know where I can buy it digitally, it would be highly appreciated.

Don't know where you can download a manual, but the static setting on your low speed needle valve should be 1 1/4 turn out from lightly seated and then fine tuned in the water in gear. The final idle speed should be 700-750 in gear.

Thanks, Daviet. I'll check how it runs in the water with that setting tomorrow.
Also, gasoline is comming out (flows and spits) on the front of the carburetors. I suspect that it has something to do with the ignition setting and not the carburetors, since I doubt that all three carbs. has the same problem.

BTW, Seloc manuals give some troubleshooting information. The factory manual gives specifications and model specific instructions, but very little diagnostic stuff other than voltage readings,etc.
