Hi. i try to start my engine i put new plug clean carb and the engine dont want to start just make backfire i dont instal the lower unit i try to start the engine before i dont think they change something anyway someone have ideal???

Running the engine without the lower unit means it will have no water for cooling so you could do serious damage to it. Use a spray bottle to squirt a fuel/oil mix into the carb. If it starts you have a fuel delivery or carb problem. If not, you need to check compression and make sure you have good hot spark at all cylinders.

no i change nothing in the wire they only think i do its clean the carb and restore the boat paint and change seat and i try to start the engine but make some fire but dont want to start do you think its because the lower unit its not install???

i plub my radio, depth sounder and water pressurre gauge in the accessories wire of my boat switch i read in my book never connect accessories to key switch do you think thats my probleme to start my engine???
