Thats 2 completely different systems. The 69 is a battery CD system and the 73 is a magneto system.<br /><br />Now, if I remember right the 69 has a set of points that act as the "trigger" and require the cam lobe on the crank to open & close. The 73 crank wont have that lobe. Very little may be a direct bolt on but you can make adapters for most anything. That lobe may be a bit harder to get around.<br /><br />The 73 style ignition is much better anyway. And parts are getting hard to find for the older battery CD systems. Is there a reason you want to use the old ignition on a newer motor?
