johnson 90hp v4 (problems)

Hi All.<br />I have now been on the forum a few times with questions about my outboard. I have taken the carbs apart now 4 times. After putting the carbs back on the engine runs nice and smooth for about 2 minutes. Then the problems start all over again. The engine just does not want to run nice. I have put in new sparkplugs, new sparkleads and even put in a filter between the fuel line. The engine sometimes starts and runs but sputters and dies on me straight away. What els could be the problem and what would it more or less cost me to strip and rebuild the hole thing. Please help me !!!!!!!

What year is your motor and check/test the recirculation valves. What do the sparkplugs look like. Any of them black carbon coated?
