Johnson Boat?

I have a question about an older Johnson boat. My brother-in-law has an older boat built by Johnson. It is an inboard/outboard boat with a 350 chevy. Overall the boat is in great shape, but does need a little work. I believe these boats are rare, and I was wandering what one would be worth? I will enclose pictures of a boat I found similiar, but this is NOT the one I am referring to. The boat I am talking about is blue and white. Well....I now know there 2 in existence. <br />I believe you also have the Chris Craft/Johnson, its my understanding that CC bought the rights to put the name Johnson on their gull wings sometime in the early 70's. Standard engine was a 305 or 307 cu.<br />I have 2 Chris's and 1 Johnson, and they are totally a like except for the name on the back.

Value of these boats is very little. Evinrude also made a twin sister to the Johnson boat. There were several models made in both I/O and O/B models. Engine parts are still available from iboats. Many of these boats still around in the midwest where they don't see salt water.

I had a 1971 16' evinrude explorer. It was a very strange looking boat! But a ton of fun. That boat weighed a ton. The only downfall to it was the omc outdrive.
