Johnson / Evinrude binacle control

I have an unknown year of binacle control. The control works fine in neutral / forward / speed cable. Shifts into reverse just fine, but I cannot increase speed in reverse. there are several combinations as far as hooking cables to binacle. Can't find any info on binacle.

The binnacle control is OMC. The one I have has a button on top ya push to disengage gear shift for cold start. Just now I googled the problem and it brought up some posts from a year ago. Seahorse had the correct answer to solve the problem. There are two positions to mount the gear shift cable to. They are very close together and ya really have to look hard to see that. Seahorse said if mounted in the outer hole it caused binding and would prevent throttle in reverse. He was correct. I moved my cable the 1/8th inch or so to the inner hole and I now have reverse throttle.
