Johnson & evinrude lowers

Hello guys!<br /><br /> There was a post on here some time back about Johnson and evinrudes having problems blowing out the gearcases on these motors. My questions are what year(s) and what models did this effect. I can remember that it was in the late 90"s but i'm not shure when. The good gears are available from Pro Marine. Contact them at 800-621-7761. Your dealer can order from them also. They also carry all the related parts needed.<br /><br />Good luck!
