I tried to post this request here earlier, but it doesn't seem to have appeared, anyhow....

A few weeks ago someone suggested a source for parts catalogs for my old '58 FD-12 who wouldn't charge the earth for shipping to the UK, and now I can't find it!
Now I need one for my newly acquired '59 Lightwin too, I can't keep asking you guys every time I need a part number, and I don't seem to be able to find an online list of numbers other than for everyday service parts.
The only suppliers I can come up with either won't ship outside the US for some reason, or want to charge so much for shipping you'd think they were going to hand deliver the things personally!

Try www.kenkook.com. I ordered 3 manuals for my Johnson. They shipped it to The Netherlands. Don't know the price for shipping anymore though.

Good luck.

That link doesn't seem to work Cor, but I think I tried that site already and it was one of the ones that wanted to charge an exhorbitant amount for shipping, something like $50+ for a couple of catalogues!
It shouldn't cost more than $9 to ship two catalogues to the UK by Global Priority, so how they account for the rest I have no idea.

Hi mate
Don't know if this is any good to you. I've got a parts catalogue for all 1961 Gale motors. I've read on here that Gale engines are basically just Jonny/rudes, but a few years older, ie, a 1961 Gale = a 1958 Jonny/rude.

If you think this might be any good, drop me an email.

Steve

Thanx steviecops, but I think I'm OK now. I was right about Ken Cook being the place that wanted to charge a minimum $52 shipping, or if I wanted to use some really fancy service I could choose to pay $106!
But I found MarineEngine.com would send me both catalogues for $20 each plus $12 Global Priority shipping, which is a bit more like it! It only takes 3 days and I don't think those more expensive services are any faster.
