Johnson or Evinrude?

I was just wondering, in anyones opinion what engine do you think is better?<br />I prefer johnson, but thats just my opinion.<br /><br />------------<br />Wes

Made by same company with interchangable parts until Ficht in 1998 (only Evinrude and 150 HP & >). Other motors identical.

Now, Johnsons are still carborated in the lower HP, Suzuki 4-st in the larger. Check out their websites (probably different in Ireland, so check Google).<br />Older Johnsons are great....very reliable. For example, my 2000, 200 hp starts every time...and loves gas. Used 55 gallons yesterday in 6 hours of running....
