Hi all. Can anyone tell me where I can get a Johnson OEM service manual for a 1989 Johnson 88 SPL outboard. Most of my searches have only come up with either Clymer or Seloc manuals, which from what I have read in here aren't as good as an OEM manual is.
TIA

Got mine on ebay for ten bucks. You can also try evinrude.com.

Bombardier only sells back to the 1996 model year. They will direct you to the original publisher, Ken Cook Co., in Milwaukee: 414-466-6060 ext 292.
You can contact Ken Cook direct and they will sell you an original. They are also on the web. The only problem with the last one I purchased was that they are no longer printed copies with color. They are black and white photocopies. OK for most servicing, but lack in the electrical schematics where color is a must..
