Johnson/ Rude cluch dogs

Seems like I read somewhere in the forums that the clutch dogs for the late 50's and early 60's big twins are no longer available. Am I having a brain spasam or is this true?

I'm pretty certain the larger displacement ones are still available.

we have a local machine shop that recuts the dogs and the gears it saves alot of money and they last as long as new ones

I was at my local dealer getting other parts for a 63 40hp rude and asked if the clutch dogs were still available. He didn't think so, but he had 2 instock and if I remember right they wern't but about 25 dollars. It might be worth my while to maybe pick up one. <br /><br />Also will this clutch dog be the same for a 56 30hp?
