Just purchased a Johnson Sea horse 18 at a auction. I'm wondering what year and oil/gas ratio I should use. Model #FD-11 Serial #1517603

Congratulations.<br /><br />I had a new one (I was 14 and Dad was a dealer).<br /><br />Great engine. Nice looker. The engine was mechanically the same for about 10 years, so basic parts should be easy to find.<br /><br />Enjoy!

Unless it has been custom retrofitted, that motor requires a somewhat special pressure type gas tank.
