i recently purchased a Johnson Seahorse 2.5 HP, i beleive the year to be between 1946-1950. The motor sat for some time (not sure how long). Started it in a bucket...it starts and runs, but is likely low on crank case oil and gear lube. It isn't obvious where to fill the crank case, and I have been unable to find any info on line. Any advice on two stroke maintenance would be greatly appreciated.

matuzac<br />Mix outboard oil in a gas can at 24/1, 1 pint to 3 gallons and pour in the motor's tank. If the water impeller works it is a miricle, it won't work long I fear. The Antique Outboard Motor Club may be the best help, www.aomci.org/ .
