I purchased this johnson RX-10 and I need to know the weight. In Washington state we have to have the boat trailer weighed and since I have no place to take my boat off and just weigh the trailer I will have to weigh all together. I know my seaswirl 1964 p-14 weighs (hull) 365 LBs. If I knew the weight of the motor I could add that pluss the P-14 then minus all three together. So, anyone know the weight of a johnson 28 HP RX-10?

Manual start is 127# and electric start is 137#.

Welcome to the forum.

I have the parts manual for the RX-12 if you want it. PM me your email and request if so.

Very nice! Thank you. That helps Alot. Any idea what a 28HP 1962 Johnson RX-10 converts to today's Horsepower? Would it be more? Less? I know that I need to use synthetic at a ratio of 24:1 but as for the power people have differing opinions on what horsepower it would convert to in today's standards.
