johnson seahorse

i have a 25 hp johnson seahorse. Model #J25RCTT, Serial #E5777467. what year is it? also i went to start it up after the winter and it will not turn over. it pull start. i got it to run for about 2 minutes after 20 minutes of trying and now i can get to turn over again? any idea what the problem maybe?

Well it is a Johnson, 25 horsepower, Rope Start from 1983, in the T model run. <br /><br />Do you have fuel going to the engine? How good is the gas.
