Hi! My tachometer works fine up to ~2500 rpm.

Does anyone know what the problem can be?

I think the tach is connected to the rectifier is that right? Johnson 110 -86

/Harry

Thaz right Harry. The gray sender wire from the tach should connect to either the yellow or gray & yellow wire at the rectifier. Is the rectifier okay? Is the battery charging?

c/6
Hooty

No! I found out that the rectifier is probably not working. It does not charge the battery and the tach is not working allright and I get strange ohm readings when testing.

If the rectifier is bad, the tach won't work.

c/6
Hooty
