Johnson temp gage

I have a 1975 70 hp Johnson. Is there any way to connect a temp sending unit/temp sensor to this motor to check for overheating and if so, how and where do I connect the sensor?

Go with a water pressure gauge. It'll tell you whats going on now. A temp gauge tells you what already happened.<br /><br />Good luck!
