I have an '86 Johnson 110 V4 with trim / tilt.<br />The tilt is working ok, but, the tilt will not go down. The motor just sits there as the hydrolic motor whines. I tried the manual release plastic screw.<br />It will only work for the "tilt" and not the trim.<br />I have even put a jack on the motor and it still will not release under pressure. <br />It is a real pain!<br />Is there a manual release for the trim also?<br />And where can I bypass the solenoid or the switch.<br />I traced the wire from the trim up thru the engine to a big black box with all the other wires go.<br />It looks like the trim and tilt are hooked together.<br />Does anyone know what I can do.<br />It is so frustrating.!<br />This happened once before and It took 2 weeks for the trim to release.<br /> And my trim problem happens when I keep the motor on tilt too long. When I put the motor down it will hit the trim cylinders and hits a brick wall.<br /><br />Please help-<br /><br />Mike
