I just bought a brand new Jabsco marine head. And the joker valve keeps getting sucked inside out. Right where the discharge hose connects into the toliet, is where the valve is. and the valve is supposed to extend into the toliet, but when it gets sucked inside out, it goes into the discharge hose.
This is not a usual joker valve, it is a 3 pronged valve. it has 3 flaps that meet in the middle.

Is this just a crappy joker valve, or is the pump sucking the valve inside out for another reason?

if I'm understanding you here it sounds like you are installing the joker valve backwards.... isn't it there to keep seawater from backflowing innto the head? if so it seems as if the flaps should be pointed into the hose..

sorry, I was wrong. When I install the valve, i put the flaps into the hose. But when it gets sucked inside out, it goes towards the head.
I think I suck the valve inside out on the pump upstroke.
Maybe, the end of the discharge pipe is colged, I take man size Sh*ts.
But it does not seem to be clogged.
I also have no vent on the loop.

Re: Joker valve keeps getting sucked inside out

So I had a clog in the end of the discharge line.
I used paper towels as tp the first time. And that got stuck.
Spent a few hours this morning snaking it out.
But now the toliet works ok.
except now it makes a weird sound when sucking water in, and there are a few small drops of water leaking out here and there around the pump.
The discharge hose is not very flexable, and It is putting pressure on the head when it hooks up.
