Jonhson 20 sea horse (please help)

I have got it started but the revs stick on i think the pin in the side of the carb that should turn is sticking, i can turn it with pliers to control the revs. Should i remove the carb and try freeing the pin?<br />What is the ratio of petrol - 2 stroke oil .<br />What type of petrol leaded or lead free.

Howdy, ****ing.<br /><br />Yes, overhaul your carb. Fuel ratio depends on age. You didn't tell us what year your engine is.<br /><br />Good luck.

I dont know the age but i guess it must be more than 10 years old.<br />Is the fuel unleaded

Hi, ****ing.<br /><br />You really need to know the year to get parts and to determine correct fuel mix.<br /><br />Post the model number from the plate on the mounting clamp.<br /><br />Let us know.

Hi i have the model No it is J20CRLCNB now i need to know what the fuel mix is in ilitres fuel- 2 stroke oil E.G 20 letres fuel how much 2 stroke oil.<br /><br />P.S. i have done the carb and it starts and ticks over perfect thanks for all your replies from the novice.

Howdy.<br /><br />Your model number is late enough (I don't know the exact year) to use a 50:1 mix.<br /><br />To 20 litres unleaded, alcohol free, 90RON petrol, add 400ml outboard oil.<br /><br />Good luck.
