I just purchased a 1987 Rinker 180, I purchased a stereo package to install as one did not come with the boat. I was curious if anyone had any tips on mounting locations for the head unit itself or the speakers? any input would be appreciated. The other question I have is what can I expect for a top speed, its a 120 H.P. mercruiser I/O. Thanks everyone in advance

I mounted my deck in the glovebox which will keep it dry or drier than other places. I put my speakers out in the open, it was kinda hard to find a location to keep them dry, but i bought cheapies so if they die I am only out 10 bucks for both sets. Cheap speakers is one of the benefits of working at a best buy, you guys wouldnt beleive the mark up on sterio equipment.
