will a prop from a 1982 mercury 115hp fit a 1975 merc 150hp the prop is a 20pitch??????? and am i correct in saying that sn/3913381 is a 1975 merc

Renny, the prop will indeed fit. You may look up the year by serial number on the Maxrules.com website.

chris yet again thanks for your fast reply and it is a 1974 so was close one more question waht about swapping the mid sections over from the 1982 to the 1974???
as you probably guessed i gave up on rebuilding my merc engine and went out and bought a glastron with an inboard engine

Rennie, It is likely the midsections will interchange. Check the number of powerhead mounting bolts and make some measurement of their patterns to make sure. This begs the question of what kind of "Frankenmerc" are you trying to make out of who's parts?
