Is there anything that can bolt on to make the controlls "quick disconnect" so the motor can removed easily? I mean I know the fuel and oil line are but is there anything for the steering and throttle cables? Reason being I fish alot of tournaments on electric only lakes and rarely on unrestricted. I really don't want to give the gas motor but it is a decent hunk of weight back there. The gaser is a 40hp so my engine hoist can handle it .

Read the rules. All you need to do is pull the prop on electric only lakes

Not always, Scott. Below is from an E-only lake I use. They ticket if there is an IC propulsion motor on the boat.

Depends on the engine just how easy it is, but most you should be able to pull the cover and disconnect the throttle+shift with just a couple of screws/nuts each. Steering depends a lot on the boat as well as the engine.

I've not seen a < 100 hp outboard that would take long to pull if you know what you are doing.

Have a couple of bungees and/or Velcro straps handy to organize/control the cables while the engine is removed.

You might get tired of the removing and replacement and just get a smaller boat to use with just a trolling motor + converted cooler as the livewell.
Bolting the engine to the transom and unbolting it is where the real work comes in.

Lucky enough here in PA we don't have to have the motor off. I was trying to get a little more speed on tournament days
