Just been Given a 1966 Glasspar Gold Cup and need specs and info on this boat. I have never restored a boat and this one doesn't seem to need more than a few hundred dollars and lots of tlc. I can't find anything on the internet regarding specs. The hull seems fine and the previous owner says it is water worthy but hasn't gotten wet in at least 4 years. The floor is sturdy and seats obviously weathered. The carpeting and seats are the easy part. One thing that is bothering me is the steering cables. one pulley is so weathered it crumbles. I look on iboats and the internet and don't know what steering system it needs, what size to get or anything. I don't know if it should have a temp guage or speedo. I am not concentrating on the Chrysler O/B 55 yet. I need a link or somewhere to get my boats specs. can anyone help????? I do know one thing that the leaf springs on the trailer are upside down and should be on top of the axle instead of underneath the axle for there is only 4" of clearance from the pavement! I WILL INCLUDE PICS TOMORROW AS SOON AS I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK THIS NEW PH.!!!!!!!!

to be as basic as possible. I just want to know about my boat. I don't understand the steering,ignition, electrical system. I don't know if there are any similar boats to mine. e.g. chevy is the same as gmc.(basics only) I will need to replace the steering and at iboats there are so many different kinds. I need a windshield and don't/can't find one on the internet. so many things i would like to know and if there is a boat make/model similar to mine i could look at that boat too figure mine out.

Ayuh,... It shouldn't take more than a couple hundred hours of Reading, right here at iboats to cipher out All that Info,....

Basically,... All boats are almost exactly the same, only alittle different...
