I have just been looking at the trailer threads . Here in the UK most trailers have to have brakes on all wheels, the exception being if they are very small. I also saw that the bearings are fairly standard being of one or two sizes. Here trailers seem to be made by their manufacturers from all sorts of motor trade bits.the bearings being the worst. There are so many that the only place you can buy them is from a trailer spares shop,Even then its best to take the old bearing with you so they can get the numbers off them. At the moment Im trying to get some wheel studs and nuts for my 2001 trailer so far Ive not been able to get any,(threads wrong, wrong diameter, wrong length etc).So it looks like Ive got to start modifying the hubs to fit the studs. Who said boating was fun

You should checkout ready to go hubs, bearings are prepacked and studs are new. Here in the U.S. they go for about $65 each, $130 for a set of new hubs. Take the old ones off and chunk them or save them for spares. About a 30 min. job for the pair and you're done!

some might say that,I have a Land Rover Discovery. Towing limit 3 1\2 ton .i was never any good at maths, but here goes 1 kilogram =2.2lbs... there are 1016 kg in a ton.....3 1/2 tons is 3556kilograms....3556 X1016 works out at 7823 lbs. But I could be talking a load of rubbish. I dont know if you are in lbs and tons , or if they are the same as our lbs and tons. I told you I talk a load of rubbish didnt I.
