I just bought a 1974 5 hp Eska yesterday... It has no cover, but otherwise in pretty good shape. paid $125 for it. Did I do ok?
Also, guy who sold it had the manual and said you can still buy parts thru Sears?
He's using a volkswagen fuel filter on it, and says that if it starts running a little rough, just check that out.... I think if I put a cover on it, it would help as the carb is exposed?
Anyway, it starts good, and looks like it will do all I want on a 12' alumacraft jon boat!
