Hello all,

This forum was kind enough to guide me through the boat purchasing process. And now, we're proud owners of a 1997 Bayliner Capri 1600 SE w/ a 04 Yamaha 2 stroke 90 HP motor.

Right off the bat, we know we are going to need covers for this. My local dealer gave me a quote for a Cockpit Cover and I almost dropped the phone!

Do any of you have any suggestions on websites/online stores that i can check and possibly order my covers from?

It has a Bow Cover, that if the price is right, I wouldn't mind replacing. There are no snaps/attachment points along the cockpit area of the boat, so I'll have to install those myself as well.

Overall the boat is in great condition for it's age, so we're very excited.

Not gonna find the covers.....get ready to spend the $$$$ if you want them. The other option is finding a custom shop that does them...."Might" save you a few bucks.....especially if you can find someone who does it out of their garage...

Good luck with the boat!

I purchased a complete camper /bimini top from Letas top shop .com. They have all the factory patterns. It was a thousand dollars cheaper than the local shops.

Any reason why you want the snap type? It's a lot cheaper to just get a full cover that slips over the entire boat.
