just bought a Chrysler 105hp, need a little info on

I just bought a chrysler 105, but don't know the year of it, the model number is 1057HD and the serial number is 1338, I think it is a 78', but am not really sure. Also, I am having trouble with it running. it idles great, but when I put it under a load, it dies. I have checked spark at all 4 plugs and it is good, the compression is good enough that it blows my thumb off of the holes. three of the four cylinders are getting gas, the 3rd cylinder down doesn't seem to be getting any fuel?I am very new to the boat owning thing, and I will gladly take any advice that is sent my way. thank you.

I'm sure your post just got lost in the shuffle.
Also, there aren't many Chrysler guys on here to help you, and I don't know much.

So..... Welcome to iboats forum.

My chart puts your motor as a 1972 model.

Compression really needs to be checked on each cylinder, with a gauge.

If you have good spark and compression, look to the fuel system.

You already suspect fuel to #3 to be a problem.
Time to go through the entire fuel system.
Clean it out, check the holes for cracks - dry rot, leaks, etc.
Replace any suspect hoses.
Rebuild the carbs and get them adjusted according to the manual.

thank you, I was starting to feel unloved lol. I am going to check compression tonight, I did rebuild and readjust the carb, but haven't had it in the water yet to see if there was anything different. replaced all hoses, bc they were looking old. thank you, I will repost as soon as I see anything new.
