I've seen more than a few posters around who emphatically state they'd never buy a single thing from BPS. My question is why?
Outside their sometimes higher prices for some items (which is why comparison shopping is good), I have yet to have a negative experience what so ever from BPS.
Recent case in point....ordered a Shimano Curado 201E7 baitcasting reel online (and put it on 6 month pay---and on sale for $139, cheapest price I could find anywhere). Was my first left handed reel and after I received it, I found I just couldn't get myself to make it work comfortably, despite using it for an entire afternoon fishing, about 5 hours total.
So, took it back to a BPS store, wanting to exchange it. Took all of 5 minutes, most of which was spent walking back to the fishing dept., getting its right hand replacement, and walking back to the cust. serv. counter in the front of the store. Otherwise, the CSR was, as always, very friendly and eager to do the exchange, which she did without problems.
So, why the hate on BPS? Just curious.......
