Not a lot of info I see after searching on these motors.

This one hadn't run in a few years, I picked it up for $75 with tank and fuel line so it was a pretty solid investment with little risk, haha.

I got it running, gapped the plugs and replaced them based on what was already in there.

I need to make sure the plugs are gapped right. I gapped them at .30 which is what the ones I took out were gapped at.

I mixed the fuel at 40ml per liter (sorry, in Canada) which is what I was told was right for my 63 3HP.

It's running pretty smoky, might that be because there is too much oil?

Anything else I should be aware of and check out before I take it out on the water for a day? It seemed to run high and low well, almost stalled out a couple of times, but never actually did.

If you could point me to a website with some good info, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
