I'm looking for a little help with alarms on a 2011 Volvo penta 5.7 GSi 300-C . When hooking up the Rinda Diacom I get these alarms. Oil pressure gauge driver fault, Engine coolant gauge driver fault, and trim gauge driver fault. They appear as soon as I plug in, and reappear when reset. All the gauges are operating, and the Rinda reads them also. Is this something that has to be reprogrammed at a dealership, or can I do it with the Rinda? The EGC is a brand new one. The gauges on the boat are the smart gauges, and they are also new. Not sure what to do on these and any help you can give me I appreciate. Dave-R

I don't do Iboats much any more but starting with just the oil driver low fault. The ECM sends a signal to the oil pressure gauge to make the needle move. It should be a dark blue wire. Try disconnecting the dark blue wire from oil pressure gauge and seeing if the code will clear. The ECM just might not like your gauge. "Low" means that blue wire is more or less seeing ground. If disconnecting the dark blue from the gauge doesn't do it. Try disconnecting your ECM next and use your DVOM and see if there is any resistance to ground on that dark blue wire or see if the circuit shows as completely open as it should when the oil pressure gauge is disconnected.
