Well, I have always believed that otherwise rational men do the stupidest things in their lives over a woman.

Now it seems that the same is true of women over men.

The lighting and film used for mug shots isn't to be confused with Glamour Shots.

I'd probably look like that after sitting in a wet diaper for 15 hours. My kids would have been screaming after an hour if they got it wet.

For a while it's all warm and fuzzy, but soon the cold reality hits.

Doubtful. When a non celebrity goes nuts, and starts wearing diapers and various other ridiculous things in order to try and kill someone, that makes the news too. Astronauts aren't celebrities anyway, has anybody heard of this woman before she went nuts?

And, there's nothing wrong with making fun of someone who does something really, REALLY stupid. If you don't like such things feel free to not participate.
