Hello to All,
Just bought a 1977 Sea Ray 19 foot closed bow I/O inline 6cylinder. Having a hard time ID ing the boat. It does have air intake grills on top of the rear deck. It also has the round remote spotlight mounted on the left with small chrome wheel control. The cockpit gauges look original with a floating compass on the far right side. White in color with an all fibaglass floor. I hope someone has some ideas. I looked for the ID on the rear of the boat and found no numbers.
I would be thankful for any help.
Thanks, Michael

looks like a SRV 195 maybe? There should be a coast guard plate next to the throttle control that will have the model number there. if not, i'm sure if you give the HIN number, located on the top right hand of the transom, you can figure out the model.

Thanks for the information. I will be picking the boat of next Saturday. I should have a better chance to research and identify the boat after that. The boat looks to be in very good condition and the engine runs but the rottenchester 2 barrel is flooding over and won't idle very well. Not sure whether the engine is a 250 or a 292 but I will check the block numbers and figure it out. I previous owner has installed new throttle and steering cables, new gimble bearing and boot. Upgrade to H.E.I. distributor and wires.
I am wondering if the I6 came with a 2 barrel or a 4barrel carburator? Their looks like an adapter plate in the shape of a 4 barrel Q-jet pattern on the intake manifold???? If anyone has seen this, please let me know.
Thanks, Michael

Hope it's a marine style HEI ignition. I doubt the I-6 came with a Quadra-junk carb. Most automotive 250-292s has single barrels, or at most a Duo-junk on 'em, so I doubt it came factory with the 4bbl. Could be wrong though...wouldn't be the first time. A fiberglass floor? Solid glass, or a liner over wood? Sitting under all those trees like that, I hope it was covered good too. Otherwise...leaves, clogged transom drains, rotten wood...etc. More pics are a must. Hope it all goes well for ya'.

I think it came with the 2 barrel. Might want to ask those questions over in the general boat topics forum or the general mercruiser forum. Lets see some more pics of that thing. I bought my SRV 190 and had to redo the transom, stringers, and deck. I first noticed my transom was bad when I was getting water in the bilge, only when I was running the motor fast (the transom was flexing, and letting water in through the transom plate).
