We had the good fortune of a really nice day today and I got a bunch of good pics... and here's one of 'em. That 'mountain' there is Saltspring island. We were heading south to Brentwood Bay... yeah... I sped up to take the picture! That's 46 mph

....ahh, the Gulf Islands...always nice. I know that view well, although usually from the deck of the BC Ferries, as will be the case at least once over the next two weeks.
Great boating spot tho'. What size of boat do have Magster?

Yeah... that view you'd see on the Mill Bay - Brentwood ferry if you looked north.
I've got 2 Sea Rays, a '92 240 cuddy that's for sale now 'cause I just got an '06 240 Sundancer. Where in the PNW are you? Big city Van?

Yeah... we're quite spoiled with our myriad of potential destinations. There's so many cool places to visit... here's one of the canal that seperates north and south Pender islands.

This one is from 'The Spit' on Sidney island... a popular anchorage.

This picture I took one night out in Swanson channel (it's on the orca's feeding and migration route)

We get to see some pretty awesome stuff...

thanks that cheered me up,we have snow at the moment,LOCH LOMOND,scotland, just joined this sight 20 mins ago,we have to pay 10 $ gall !!!so dont see many wakes like that , wonderfull great photoe. velo

Still a little way off for boating up here as we just had an ice storm and are getting a snowstorm this weekend. Whatever happened to global warming? I've been planning on having 75 degree winters in New York by now, what gives?

I'm in Victoria, but often travel over to Vancouver on business...and use the ol' BC Ferries religiously. A good trip generally....productive, relaxing although a little hard on travel time and cost. However, you can't have everything.
