I guess it depends on the orientation . . . .per the picture, it is about 2 O'clock. From the front of the engine it would be about 5 O'clock. (not sure if it is AM or PM though)
Nice!
Others can correct me if I am wrong, but the actual orientation of the number one wire isn't set in stone, as long as the firing order is correct and when the number one cylinder is at tdc, the rotor is set to the number one wire. My number one wire is at the number 8 location on that drawing.
The wires were removed. Just took a look at things. If the timing mark on the harmonic balancer is for the number one cylinder all I have to do is set the timing mark on the front of the engine and the rotor should point at TDC on the distributor for #1 wire. But it looks like It can be off by 180*. so 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. does that make sense to any body but me?
Too funny. I am on zulu time so will I have to cross a international time zone to get this right? LOL..I guess it depends on the orientation . . . .per the picture, it is about 2 O'clock. From the front of the engine it would be about 5 O'clock. (not sure if it is AM or PM though)
