Hey guy's Quick question can a 1955 25hp johnson RD17 lower unit fit on a 1972 25hp Evinrude 25203r? Or can I get new or used part's for it ? Eg. Frd gear, clutch dog, cradle, shift rod

confusing? with motor do you want to fix. i seriously doubt the year difference would work.

The two motors in question are totally different animals.
